Question : *why was Actor kamal hasan's name was missing in voters list :
Answer : wit regard to Kamal sir's case,
he shifted his house ...
There was no-one existing named Kamal Hassan in that particular house as on the due date for fnalisation of electoral rolls.
more over Election Commission gave enough and more chances for people to verify their name in the rolls.
ElectoralProcess involves 6000 crore rupees and almost a year long work.
So there are lots of mistakes which are bound to happen.

Question : In my Opinion democracy is not only paying Income tax,road tax,VAT ,water tax ,house tax,land tax etc etc etc

btw fasting period was btween breakfast and lunch, god knows?
* I wonder how our Goverment ,which is functioning perfectly in deducting Tax which involves more maths than electoral process?
* After losing major part of our salary in tax ,Recent Terrorist Attack in Bombay ..,showed us how secured we ppl are ,
Indeed Having a Home minister @ the Age of 75 we cant expect more! ??

Mams lets take it step by step, have you noticed the next day news papers after election date, if not go check it today, there will be a certain % which will say, these much amount of people have voted, have you ever noticed more than 80% ever, I have never. Yes we as citizens never ever start doing our duty properly, I am ashamed of myself for not casting my vote. There are more educated people who casually skip voting just by saying my vote is not going to make a difference, we find some silly reasons to escape. Also we don't educate people about the glory of our democracy, I read in news papers today that many polling officials were unaware of 49(O), lot of people who went to register their vote on 49(O) came back disappointed. Then at some places the agents in the booth forced the people not to vote on 49(O), when your stand is clearly revealed how in the world is this election legal. Do we ever ask the question, we just complain about the amenities being not world class in our system, we feel cheated as we say we pay taxes but we never do our duties properly. We always expect our taxes to do the duties for us. i Have one voters id , I believe in India if u have one id it shuld be fine
i still believe we all are living in one country where we one primary key to pull out data ,
bloody systems i cant run behind this elctoral system every time
inspite of having a voters id prior ,

Mapla what are you talking about? This is the same system which gave an arrest warrant on Kalam sirs name when he was the president of this country and who said you can't get anything in this system, there was a show in TV where the crew got a voter ID, ration card, driving license, PAN Card, passport and everything that shows you as a citizen of india for someone who never existed and the key to both these achievements were MONEY. India is a democracy where if you have money you can always bypass the so called system. Its not like only rich people bribe, everyone, you, me everyone. Just think what will be your reaction when a traffic police catches you mid way? Let's BE the change
